IN LIFE, IT'S NOT WHERE YOU GO --

CONGRATULATIONS!! Congratulations to these two Love Birds who said "I DO" at one of the most Beautiful Locations that Amanda and I have ever visited!!

From my last blog post -- I mentioned that Amanda and I were traveling for One Epic Surprise -- Secrets out of the bag now!! On Wednesday, June 22nd -- Amanda and I traveled to Boldt Castle in Clayton, NY for one Epic Destination Wedding for Rick and Laura!! Surrounded by Rick's children and a couple close friends, this Dynamic Duo said "I DO" at Bodlt Castle on Heart Island!

When Laura called me and asked me if I was willing travel for their Wedding -- I could not say "YES!" fast enough! What an AMAZING opportunity to travel to 1000 Islands and experience the beauty of Boldt Castle!! What I was excited about the most -- aside from capturing special memories of this spectacular day -- is that I didn't even know this Gem existed!! Just another thing that I love about Photography -- is it allows me the opportunity to explore new places and meet some amazing people!! If you are traveling in the upper New York Area, you have to check Boldt Castle out!! Also can I quickly mention -- that no details were missed when the late Millionaire George C. Boldt started building this castle for the love of his life -- his wife -- Louise! ((Amanda when you read this -- I will not be able to build you a castle with my photography salary -- so I hope that vegetable garden I built you this summer will be enough! haha)).

When the words -- "Richard, you're Perfect -- Laura, you're Beautiful!" -- came out of my mouth it quickly became the Moto of the day that everyone was saying!! What I loved the most was that we were all laughing and enjoying ourselves at one Fantastic Destination Wedding!!

If you have been able to read some of my other Blog Posts -- one thing you should know -- is that Amanda and I love Adventures. Adventures to us could be like this Wedding where we were able to travel to a Castle in Clayton, NY -- but it also can be a simple hike to Butternut Falls to capture memories of beautiful scenery just outside our front door OR an Adventure could be dressing our dogs up as ghosts for Halloween and trying to snap a few photos before our littlest dog (Bela) takes off!! To me -- the most important adventures are those shared with people you love!! I am so grateful to have been able to capture the love between Rick and Laura on this Amazing Adventure!
