Rustic VS Urban Engagement Sessions!

We are hitting the ground running with Weddings, Engagement Sessions, Senior Sessions and more this Fall!! Busy, Busy, Busy -- BUT I wanted to take time to share about 2 of the Engagement Sessions I did last week!! Basically -- it is a two for the price of one blog post for today -- lucky you!

Last Week -- Back-to-Back days -- I was able to capture the Engagement Sessions of Kristina and Michael AND Samantha and Dante!! Needless to say -- BOTH of these couples were AMAZING to work with!! But what I kept thinking about during both sessions was how drastic a difference scenery can make to the overall feel of a session. The setting can give a different vibe to each photo -- so it is important to choose a setting that speaks with you and your Loved One!

Rustic Engagement Sessions!

If you step into our house -- you will find shiplap on every wall, reclaimed and rusty items displayed in practically every room -- for more of a rustic farmhouse feel!! Amanda and I LOVE old rusty things!! We love to go hunting for antiques and whenever a couple says that they want to have a more Rustic Setting for their Engagement Sessions -- that is definitely right up our alley! When Kristina contacted us for this type of session we knew exactly where we wanted to take them! Woods, Goldenrods, and an Awesome couple for the win with this session!! Urban Engagement Sessions!

Growing up just 20 minutes North of Pittsburgh -- I absolutely love changing gears and capturing pictures in town centers! Give me all of the busy streets, bridges, and brick alley ways!! That's why when Dante contacted me that they were feeling a more Urban setting for their Engagement Sessions I was excited to change things up a little bit!! You definitely get a little more edge to your pictures with City Scapes and different brick sceneries in the back grounds!! Sprinkle in one awesome couple like Dante and Samantha and you have some pretty amazing pictures!! Check out some pictures from Dante and Samantha's Engagement Session below!!

All in All whether you choose a Rustic or Urban Session for your Engagement Session -- your pictures will turn out awesome if you are side by side your Best Friend like these two sets of Love Birds!! What an honor it has been to be able to capture memories that these couples can share and look back on years from now!!

It is such a busy time right now -- but I am so grateful to be able to spend my weekdays capturing Engagement Sessions for two AMAZING couples like these and my Weekends capturing some AMAZING weddings!! I cannot wait to help Capture their Special days in April and August!!
